Eldred Sawyer grew up in Pleasant Grove, Dallas — where he witnessed firsthand poverty, addiction, and fatherlessness. In 1986 he co-founded CareCenter Ministries in East Dallas during the crack epidemic.
Today the ministry reaches thousands annually across the Nation — recovery homes, food pantry, church planting, a Christian school, and missionary training.
